Stephens County Hospital continues to make preparations to construct a wound care center on Falls Road. Monday, the Stephens County Hospital Authority unanimously approved the purchase of a $35,000 performance bond from Travelers’ Insurance at the cost of a few hundred dollars, according to hospital officials. Stephens County Hospital Administrator Ed Gambrell said that this became necessary due to the location of the future wound care center.
