moving forward on the Bruce Creek fishing pier project. Georgia DNR Senior Fisheries Biologist Anthony Rabern said a pre-bid meeting was held last Tuesday. He said they hope to open bids in February and possibly start construction around March. The project includes construction new fishing piers and a walking trail to connect them. There is $600,000 available to fund the project.
