Economic Development Project Managers' "Caravan" Tours Toccoa-Stephens County


On Tuesday, September 1, Rope Roberts of Georgia Power Company took project managers from GPC and the Georgia Department of Economic Development on a trip to the Northeast Georgia region to view available industrial sites and buildings.

Local leaders joining the group were Stephens County Development Authority Chairman Cam Parker, Executive Director Tim Martin, and former Executive Director Bob Evans. The project managers toured the Milliken Humphrey Plant as well as the Rooker Spec building in the Hayestone Brady Business Park. Lunch was served at the North Georgia Technical College's Currahee Campus along with a delegation from the Hart and Franklin County Industrial Building Authorities.
