Main Street Toccoa unveils its eighth historic plaque. The ceremony unveiling the plaque took place Thursday
at the building owned by Jon C. West at 43 Doyle Street. The building was built to house Citizens Bank
in 1951. Main Street Toccoa also announced that ten more buildings will receive
plaques in the upcoming fiscal year, which begins July 1. Eventually the city wants to create a podcast
and walking tour to highlight the historic buildings.
