Stephens County’s unemployment rate drops in March.  According to figures released last week from
the Georgia Department of Labor, Stephens County had a preliminary unemployment
rate of 9.4 percent in March.  That represents
a two-tenths of a percentage point decline from the revised February rate of
9.6 percent, and a three-tenths of a percentage point decline from march 2011’s
revised rate of 9.7 percent.
